For nothing is impossible with God.
Luke 1:37
All things are possible with
God! Impossibility is nothing to God. Nothing is too difficult for
our Lord!
Even the dead will be
resurrected (1 Cor 15:52):
- Dead bones will become
alive (Ezekiel 37).
- Dead Sea will become
fresh (Ezekiel 47).
- Dead relationships will
be restored.
- Dead marriages will be
revitalized.
- Dead businesses will
become profitable.
- Dead dreams and visions
will be fulfilled.
- Dead churches will be
rebuilt with true worshippers.
Jesus Christ is the
Life-Giver! He came so that we may have life, and that we may have
it more abundantly (John 10:10). Wherever Jesus is, there is life
forevermore. Even when we walk through the valley of the shadow of
death, we will fear no evil for He is with us. He is our everlasting
Light. His light and His life will shine brilliantly through the
darkness. His rod and His staff comfort us (Psalm 23:4). He will not
abandon us to the grave, nor will He let His Holy One see decay. He
has made known to us the path of life. He will fill us with joy in
His presence, with eternal pleasures at His right hand (Psalm
16:10-11).
Many of us believe and preach
that Christ has been raised from the dead. But at the same breath,
some of us say that there is no resurrection of the dead. If there
is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been
raised. And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching and faith
are in vain. We will become false witnesses about God because we
have testified that God had raised Christ from the dead. But He did
not raise Christ if in fact the dead are not raised.
For if the dead are not
raised, then Christ has not been raised either. And if Christ has
not been raised, our faith is futile; we are still in our sins. Then
those also who have fallen asleep in Christ are lost. If only for
this life we have hope in Christ, we are to be pitied more than all
men. But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead. He is the
firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For since death came
through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a
Man. For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive (1
Cor 15:12-22).
In Christ we will be made
alive. The God factor is life forevermore.
What is life? Life breathes.
When we have this breath of life, we will be able to breathe again:
- Breathe in and breathe
out
- Freely we have received,
freely give (Matthew 10:8)
- Be loved and love (I John
4:19)
We will be free again - like
eagles sowing into the skies. We will be able to love God and our
neighbours. We will be able to reach out to the unlovables, the
untouchables, and the unnoticeables. We will be able to become what
God has created us to be - transformed into the same image of
Christ, becoming more like Him in love, in life and in line with
God’s will.
Putting the God factor (TGF)
into every equation in life:
War + TGF = Peace (Shalom) |
Even in the midst of war, we feel His peace. He
is our peace! (Eph 2:14). |
Anxiety + TGF = Rest (Shabbat) |
Even in the midst of the storms of life, we are
resting in His arms of love. He will grant us His perfect
rest (Psalm 127:2). |
Hate + TGF = Love |
Even when our enemies intend evil and hate us,
we will still love them. How? We will prayerfully leave them
to their loving Maker because He knows the best way to deal
with them in love (Luke 6:35-36). |
Lack + TGF = Abundance |
He is our Shepherd; therefore we will not lack
(Psalm 23:1). |
Death + TGF = Life |
He is the Resurrection and the Life (John
11:25). |
Sickness + TGF = Healing |
He heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3). |
Defeat + TGF = Victory |
Our God always leads us in triumph in Christ (2
Cor 2:14). |
